One of my earliest commissions was creating these Thank You cards for a pair of newlyweds. I remember how daunting it felt to be asked to create something so important and representative of such a special time in a couples’ lives.

This was early days when I refused to sketch out my ideas first with pencil (I’m blaming my genetics for this brand of stubbornness) and so, I went through more paper than I can even count. After many many drafts - and the blessing that is my clients’ patience with me - I picked up an unfinished draft from before and decided to finish it out, on a whim. Little did I know that would become the final version of the cards!

I am so thankful for my clients’ trust during the commission process. It truly is a team effort to get these projects finished and I can only hope that each piece ends up living up to their expectations!

(Also, shout out to my OG logo from the first days of B&B Art! I still love that little bird.)
