Y’all know I love a good wedding bouquet painting. When my fellow artist friend Lisa (talkstoanimalsshop) asked if I would paint her wedding bouquet as one of her registry gifts, of course I said YES PLEASE! Fun story: Lisa is the first ever artist I met here in Philly and when I saw her table at West Craft Fest, I knew that running an art business was exactly what I wanted to do. There was something about Lisa’s stand, her energy, and her beautiful beaded jewelry that left me feeling totally inspired and like I could do it too!

This bouquet was such a joy to paint - so many colors and different shapes and textures that I waned to try and capture. These pieces are always such a fun way for me to track my progress and growth as a painter. I always see room for improvement (I am my harshest critic by far), but this one made me proud of how far my skills have come!
